Zenso watercolors is about sharing small Serendipitous hand mulled batches of color

Creator behind Zenso Watercolors is Cheetarah - a mixed media artist with a passion for all things color. I started making watercolors in May 2020 in small batches for my personal use (& to share with friends). Then I got some requests and inspired by color  themes to create fun sets and here we are! Making colors have been a refuge for me in diffucult times. I highly enjoy curating seasonal color selections and hope they inspire you in your creativity.

What does Zenso mean?
Zenso is a contraction of the words Zen and ensō.
In Zen Buddhism, ensō (円相, "circular form") is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. The ensō symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and mu (the void). It is characterized by a minimalism born of Japanese aesthetics.

Zenso watercolors is based on the principles of these aesthetics. the goal is for you to enjoy the freedom in expressing your creativity with these small batches of handmade watercolors and micro journals, wherever you are.
